Groupage can be divided into two types:

The first type:

Cargo are consolidated in warehouses, and then loaded onto transport (by air, railway, motor vehicle, sea or river).

The second type:

Collective cargo is collected along the path of the car (that is, the driver collects the cargo on a convenient route for him and then delivers it to the places of customs clearance and unloading to the final recipients). Transportation of groupage cargo by the second method requires, first of all, the coordinated work of the customer and the expedition employee. This is because the transported goods are very different in physical and chemical composition: food (perishable), household appliances, industrial equipment, chemicals, and much more.

The transported goods can be from a small box 50 * 50 * 50 cm to a 5-meter machine. All these cargoes have one feature in common, you pay for the tariff as for the occupied space in the transport (air, railway, car, sea container), and not for the entire container or vehicle.
